Operator 2 shifts | What's Cooking

For our client What’s Cooking, we are looking for a operator. This is a varied and responsible role where you play a key part in the production process. Together with a close-knit team of 6 colleagues, you’ll smoke and cook up to 250 different products.

What do we expect from you

As an operator, you are the link between the raw and cooked sides of production. You smoke and cook various products such as deli meats, smoked sausages, and grilled sausages. Each product has its own instructions and programming, which you look up using article numbers and set on the smoking or cooking chamber. Each chamber can hold up to 10 carts, and your challenge is to use this space as efficiently as possible. You do this by creating a schedule that accounts for cooking times. With 250 different products, your work is varied, and it’s essential to be extremely precise and maintain a clear overview at all times.

What are we looking for

You have a good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
Speaking Dutch is a plus.
You have technical insight.
You have experience working in a production environment; experience with meat is a plus.
You are reliable, your colleagues can count on you.
You can maintain an overview and stay calm under pressure.
